4-H Shows Appreciation to the Learners for the Christmas Season

Tuesday, December 23, 2014. GWEN NUNEZ GONZALEZ Reporting: The 4-H Youth Development Centre Staff and Leader honoured the learners with a luncheon and entertainment at the George Price Centre in Belmopan.

The trainees received gifts and were served by the staff. The trainees provided the entertainment and some of them also received grants for school.

Mr. Luke Palacio the Principal at 4-H highlighted the accomplishment and applauded his team and trainees for the work they are doing to uplift themselves and the centre. One of the goals for 2015 is to revive 4-H Clubs countrywide.

Christmas Greetings was delivered by Ms. Pricilla Salam, Senior Youth Empowerment Officer at the Youth for The Future Office in Belmopan.

The Guest Speaker was Ms. Rosa Sanchez, a past graduate of 4-H Development Center and teacher at Belmopan Comprehensive High School.

She encouraged them to stay focused and achieve their dreams and follow her positive example.

The trainees, parents, guardians, supporters, and staff had a great time receiving and sharing gifts of good, items, and love.
