Disgruntled Workers at Green Tropics Protest

Monday, April 13th 2015. BMG: This morning around 11:45 am  police and BDF soldiers were dispatched to Green Tropics Enterprise in the Cayo District to quell a protest that was started by a group of disgruntled workers. breaking_1-300x168

Sources say that a group of employees were organizing a demonstration to complain about their wages that they have not received and to demand an increase in salary and better working conditions.

Green Tropics is owned by the Santander Group and is responsible for cane cultivation and processing.
