Patchakan Villager celebrates 100 birthday

Tuesday, April 21^st, 2015. BMG: Today is a very special milestone in the life of one resident from the Corozal District. We are talking about Anselma Pott Yam who is celebrating her 100th birthday anniversary today. Born in 1915, Yam celebrated her momentous life achievement among her closest family and friends at her Patchakan Village home.

For most of her adult life, Yam has been an integral part of her community by providing and assisting women in her village with mid-wife services for more than four decades.

An appreciation mass to celebrate her 100th birthday will be held in Patchakan village at the Roman Catholic Church, in the Corozal District.
