Well Known Bullet Tree Man Succumbs to Injuries at KHMH

Tuesday, April 28^th, 2015. BMG: Belize Media Group received a report this afternoon from our San Ignacio reporter that Antonio Teck Sr, a well known farmer from Bullet Tree Falls Village, Cayo District has died at the KHMH.

According to reports, Teck was chopping the limbs of a Tamarind tree yesterday morning about 10:00 am when he fell off the tree and injured his back and neck. He was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital where he was placed on drips for 3 ½ hours and later went into a coma.

When we spoke to a family member this afternoon, they told us that Teck couldn’t be transferred earlier in the day to KHMH since there was no ambulance to transfer him so they had to wait until 6:00 pm.

He succumbed to his injuries last night at 8:00 pm at KHMH.

Teck was a respected and hardworking farmer and had lived all his life in Bullet Tree Village.
