BREAKING NEWS: Another Belizean Commits Suicide

Monday, May 4th 2015. BMG: Belize Media Group has received reports that a man from the village of Santa Familia in the Cayo District committed suicide this weekend.

According to reports, Allan Quewell was found by his wife hanging with a rope around his neck early Saturday morning around 1:07 a.m.

Reports are that he arrived at home under the influence of alcohol and started to argue with his common-law wife, after the argument, she left him in the living room still consuming liquor.

At around 1:07am, she woke up to check on her husband and that was when she discovered the lifeless body of Allan Quewell.

This is the second Belizean in less than a week that has committed suicide. Last week, former Belize City Mayor William Henry Fonseca shot himself at his home in Belize City.
