Man dies in cane truck mishap

Saturday, May 30th 2015. BREAKING NEWS: Orange Walk police are investigating an incident that took the life of  38 year old Julio Camal, cane farmer from the village of Xaibe in the Corozal District.

Best information to our news desk is that Camal was sleeping under his truck when 28 year old Ismael Camal, also from the village of Xaibe allegedly drove off, running over and dragging Julio a couple feet.

The victim was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
