Trio could face charges for Aggravated assault

Sunday, June 7^th, 2015. BMG: Three persons are in police custody pending investigations of an assault in Belize City.

According to the report, a 36 year old under taker from Freetown Road in the old Capital told police that on Saturday around 1:25 pm, while socializing in his yard, a dark complexion male walked into his yard and pulled out a gun and pointed at him.

Fearing for his life, the individual ran inside his house and called the authorities who responded.

A team of QRT officers responded to the distress call, where three male persons were detained.

Police also recovered a .99 pistol. Police investigations continue into this matter.
