Moist and unstable weather conditions to prevail today and over the weekend

Friday, June 12th, 2015. BMG: The general forecast for today, Friday, June 12th is for relatively moist and unstable conditions.

The 24 hour forecast is for similar conditions but with a few showers and thunderstorms over some coastal areas and certain parts inland of the country.

The weather tonight is expected to be cloudy with some showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the south and along the coast.

Winds will blow from east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots with higher gust and heavy showers and thunderstorms. The sea state will be moderate to rough and a small craft caution is in effect.

High temperatures today are expected around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up on the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A low tide is expected at 1:09 pm and a high tide at 7:33 pm.

The sun sets at 6:27pm.

The extended weather for Father’s Day weekend is for cloudy skies with some showers, thunderstorms, and periods of light rain over most areas, but especially the coast and the northern districts.
