The 6pm weather forecast calls for showers across the country

Wednesday, July 08, 2015. BMG: The general weather situation is predicting that a tropical wave will cross the country later tonight and tomorrow morning and maintain relatively moist and unstable conditions.

The 24 hour forecast is for cloudy skies with some showers and a few thunderstorms over most areas but especially over the central and southern districts.

Winds will blow to the east at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state will be moderate becoming locally rough at times. Operators of small crafts should exercise caution.

High temperatures are expected to be around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up on the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A low tide is expected at 9:22 pm tonight and a high tide at 3:44 am tomorrow morning.

The sun will rise at 5:24 am.

The extended forecast up to Friday morning is for mostly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the southern and some coastal areas.
