Belize National Team receive over $125,000 in grant from GOB

Monday July 13th 2015. BMG: The Government of Belize today announced through the Ministry of Finance that the Football Federation of Belize has been awarded over $1250,000 in grant to help the national team in training and travel costs as they lead up to Round 3 of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

According to the official statement, the grant was approved by Cabinet from the Petrocaribe Fund and was presented on behalf of the Government to the Football Federation of Belize by Financial Secretary Mr. Joseph Waight.

The Government of Belize also pledged future support to the team as they progress in the final rounds of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
