Two vehicles stolen at Benque Fiesta

Saturday, July 18^th, 2015. BMG: Two cars were stolen that were parked in front of the Cancha Marshalek in Benque Viejo Town a short while ago.

Our reporter on the scene, Ms. Flora Pereira says that the two vehicles stolen were a red Toyota Pickup Truck and a four door car but due to stealthy police work, both vehicles were stopped just before crossing the Belize/Guatemala border.

Police managed to quickly set up check points and apprehended both drivers in the stolen vehicles. Shortly after, police officers received reports of another vehicle being stolen but details are still sketchy.

Fiesta goers are asked to exercise extra caution with their vehicles.
