Friday, July 24, 2015. BMG: Mainly fair and warm weather conditions are expected to prevail over the country for the next few days.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies with cloudy spells for the remainder of today.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Winds will be blowing to the East at 10 to 20 knots with occasional higher gusts.
The sea state is moderate, becoming locally rough at times throughout the day.
High temperatures today are expected at around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected at 3:47 pm and a low tide tonight at 9:54 pm.
The Sun will set at 6:29 pm.
The extended forecast into the weekend calls for continuing mainly fair and warm weather, with the chance of only light isolated showers developing.
