Missing Toledo boy named; feared drowned

Blue Creek lost boySunday, August 2nd, 2015. BMG: On Friday, July 31, at around 6:03 p.m, it was reported to Punta Gorda Police that a 9 year old boy was missing in Blue Creek Village, Toledo District, and had apparently drowned.

When police arrived at the village to join in the search efforts, it was discovered that the child was actually 10 year old Jason Pau of Cuxlin Ha Village, which is not far away from Blue Creek.

Pau went missing while on a trip with a group of American volunteers at the Blue Creek Cave where they were touring and swimming, when around 3:30 p.m, the child reportedly went under water and did not resurface.

The group, along with villagers of Blue Creek, began searching for Pau and were later joined by Police and BDF soldiers but the 10 year old has not been found as yet.

Police continue to investigate.
