Police detain five for First Caribbean robbery

Aaron7Sunday, August 2nd, 2015. BMG: Belize City Police have detained 5 men pending investigation in connection with the early Friday morning robbery of First Caribbean Bank at San Cas Plaza, Belize City.

The bank branch’s manager reported that 3 male persons entered the bank at around 8:40 a.m and robbed it of more than $50,000, before escaping in a green van that was waiting outside.

With the help of security camera footage from the bank and other tips, police investigation has made great progress.
