Teenager injured in road traffic accident

Tuesday, August 4^th, 2015. BMG: A traffic accident at the entrance of Bullet Tree Village around 6:00 p.m yesterday, August 3^rd, resulted in a teenager being transported to the K.H.M.H after the motorcycle he was driving, crashed into the back of a Toyota pickup truck.

The pickup truck, driven by Arnulfo Manzanero, was coming from San Ignacio to Bullet Tree when he decided to pull off to the left hand side of the road and heard a loud noise, then realizing that a motorcycle had crashed into his truck.

Manzanero saw 2 persons on the ground; 17 year old Brandon Vallecillo of Santa Familia Village, who was transported to the San Ignacio Hospital for a cut wound to the right abdomen, before being taken to the K.H.M.H, and another person who refused medical attention, leaving the San Ignacio hospital before police arrived.

Drivers are reminded that it is illegal to make a left turn on any road unless it is clear to the front and back. Accidents can be avoided if they can drive with due care and attention.
