Friday, August 07, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Prison officials continue to grapple with the trade of marijuana at the Central Prison in Hattieville.
Today 28 year old Anna Garbutt of Mahogany Street, who had gone to visit her brother-in-law around 1:30 Thursday afternoon, was read charges of drug trafficking after officials found 5 grams of cannabis in a transparent plastic bag tucked between two foam plates stuck together, containing food.
Garbutt pleaded not guilty and set bail of $6,000 with two sureties of three thousand.
She returns to court on October 7.
