Weather improves again for mid-week

Wednesday, August 12th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight.weather feature August 12th

A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly inland areas this morning, with showers becoming isolated this afternoon and tonight.

Winds will be blowing from the East at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 9:46 pm and a low tide this afternoon at 3:11 p.m.

The Sun will set at 6:20 pm this evening.

The extended forecast going into tomorrow night calls for mainly fair and warm weather conditions, with the chance of only isolated showers or isolated thunderstorms developing.
