Tuesday, September 1, 2015. BMG: An unoccupied house in the Santa Cruz area of San Ignacio Town in the Cayo District, was damaged by fire yesterday, August 31 around 10:30 p.m.

Police responded and found that the fire department had already extinguished the blaze.

Investigation revealed that the fire started on the verandah and damaged the walls and ceiling of the zinc roof structure.

The owner of the house is unknown and police continue to investigate.
