Fred downgraded to depression

Tropical depression Fred

Friday, 04 September 2015. BMG: Tropical depression Fred, which was downgraded from a Tropical Storm on Friday morning, was located near 22.3 north latitude, 38.3 longitude at 9:00 a.m. which is about 1,275 miles Southwest of the Azores.

Fred was moving to the west-north west at nine miles-per-hour (mph) with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.

Elsewhere in the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.
