Police looking for forger

Friday, September 18^th, 2015. BMG: Police are currently looking for a person in connection with forgery charges after an Atlantic Bank Cheque leaflet was stolen from inside a businessman’s office at K-Park Quick Stop in the Kings Park Area of Belize City.

That cheque book was then used to cash $3,500 in the name of Walter Garcia on September 16 at the Albert Street Branch of Atlantic Bank.

The signature of Murlee Kumar was forged on the cheque in order for it to be cashed by the bank. Police investigations continue.
