Monday, October 19th, 2015. BMG: 19-year-old Carlos Garcia will be given an additional charge of escape after fleeing from a police holding cell on October 1st, during breakfast distribution at around 8:00 a.m.
Garcia, a resident of San Ignacio Town, was about to begin serving a two month sentence for possession of a controlled drug when he escaped.
His time on the run was short lived because at around 12:30 p.m. today, police received tips and were able to apprehend Garcia on the Bullet Tree Road near Puma Gas Station.
