Citrus grower Bill Bowman endorses BPP

Thursday, October 22^nd, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: The Belize Progressive Party (BPP) has picked up the endorsement of citrus pioneer and major grower Bill Bowman of the Pomona Valley area.

A press release issued yesterday by the party said that according to Bowman, “We need change, change is a must. We have seen the corruption on both sides. If we don’t step up and do something then we are asking for the corruption to continue.

Both of them, the PUDP, needs to look in the mirror and they will see the reason why. 17 years of red, 17 years of blue, nothing to show, why? They are the reason.” End quote.

Bowman gave his endorsement in a BPP-recorded video posted to Youtube in the form of an interview with candidate and national campaign manager Robert “Bobby” Lopez.

He told Lopez what his message would be to young people who have no faith in the political system or any interest in voting – to have faith in the new party.
