Guatemalan busted for weed in Benque

Monday, October 26, 2015. Victor Castillo Reporting:  Ricardo Fedrico Sup Alvarado, an 18-year-old Guatemalan, is under police custody after he was intercepted by Benque Viejo Quick weed bustResponse Team.

According to police in that municipality, on Sunday October 25th near the bus terminal, their attention was drawn to the Hispanic man. Upon seeing police, he dropped a back-pack and proceeded to walk away. The QRT team picked up Alvarado and returned to where he had dropped off the knapsack where officials discovered a large plastic, wrapped with transparent tape containing substance suspected to be cannabis.

Alvarado was informed of the offence and placed under arrest.
