San Pedro residents concerned over shallow graves

Several concern residents in the Mosquito Coast area, are concerned for their health since the new cemetery has been used, in an inappropriate way, they claim.

According to a resident, a couple months ago members of the police department discovered two bodies in shallow graves on the north of the island. She claims that the officers conducted their forensic investigation and buried the bodies shallow grave 03in the new cemetery in shallow graves.

Pictures sent to us depicts the wooden coffin used to bury the corpses. The concerned residents in the area claim the wooden coffins are exposed to dogs in the area.

She added that several attempts have been made to contact the proper authorities and have them address the situation. Their requests have fallen on deaf hears, she claims.
