Relatively dry conditions expected across the country

Monday, November 9^th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be generally isolated, along Southern coastal areas this morning and tonight where a few more will occur.

Winds will be blowing from the East-Northeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 8:27 and a low tide this afternoon at 2:35.

The Sun will set at 5:18 this evening.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for cloudy skies at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms affecting mainly Southern and coastal areas of the country.
