Monday, November 16th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies at times with some showers or periods of light rain mainly inland and in the north today, with showers becoming generally isolated tonight. The threat of flooding remains for low-lying areas of the country.
Winds will be blowing from the East at 5 to 15 knots, becoming gusty near heavy showers and the sea state will be moderate, becoming locally rough at times. A small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 79 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this afternoon at 1:28 and a low tide tonight at 6:16.
The Sun will set at 5:17 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for mainly fair weather with the chance of only brief isolated showers.
