Wednesday, November 18, 2015. BMG: The Belize Bank Ltd was pleased to provide its support to the Salvation Army once again during this Christmas season. The Bank presented its contribution of $5,000.00 towards the Salvation Army’s Christmas Program which reaches out to children and adults across the country providing toys, and delivering food hampers to over 500 needy families.
“The Salvation Army is renowned for its social program, school feeding programs and providing other humanitarian support such as shelter for the homeless as well as engaging in education through its Salvation Army Primary School,” noted Shakira Tsai. “We are delighted to participate in their Christmas Program, to positively impact even more people in our community and to make things a little brighter for more families in need. We encourage others to share in the Spirit of Christmas and to give back to those in need.” Tsai went on to say.
