Police bust almost two pounds of weed

By Chrisbert Garcia: A large amount of cannabis was found yesterday morning in the area of Neal’s Pen Road, Belize City, during a search in an abandoned lot.

Around 1:30 p.m., officers made the discovery of a white bucket containing six parcels of the green leafy substance, which was later weighed and amounted to 893.7 grams.

The find was labelled as “Found Property” since no one was in the immediate area at the time of the search.
