Belize Bank new debit card promotion offers plenty rewards

By BMG: Just in time for the holiday shopping season, the Belize Bank has rolled out its new “Swipe More and Win” promotion where debit card holders can win CASH and PRIZES simply for swiping their Belize Bank Debit card while making a purchase.

The promotion was launched on December 1st and runs for 20 weeks into April when the grand prize winner will be selected. Debit card holders are automatically entered into the competition with every $50 payment swiped with the card.

A total of nine winners, one from each branch, will be chosen on April 12th, 2016 for the grand prize where they each will receive a $500 cash reward.  In addition, as a part of the campaign, Belize Bank representatives will be visiting select merchants across Belize, where they will randomly be giving away either a $50 spot cash prize or a Belize Bank Gift Pack to lucky customers using their Belize Bank Visa Debit card when they are making payment at the store.

The Belize Bank is encouraging all debit card holders to take advantage of the campaign, not just for the prizes, but also because utilizing the card is a quick, easy, convenient and most importantly, a secure way to conduct transactions as there is no need to carry bulk cash.  The Debit Card is much more than an ATM card as it is used to make payment for everyday purchases such as at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, hotels and basically anywhere where there is a point-of-sale terminal.  The Belize Bank Debit Card comes standard when a customer opens a savings account or a current account.
