Four arrested in Valley of Peace for 58 grams of weed

By Chrisbert Garcia: A special regional operation conducted in Valley of Peace Village yesterday morning, resulted in the arrests and charging of 23-year-old Victor Garcia, 22-year-old Steven Garcia, 19-year-old James Garcia and a 15-year-old minor for “Possession of Controlled Drugs”.

Around 7:30 a.m., police visited and searched a concrete bungalow house after noticing four young men standing in front of it acting suspiciously. The K-9 Unit was taken to the house and the dog indicated that drugs were hidden underneath an area of the wooden floor, which was removed by officers.

Found beneath the floor were six small bags of cannabis which were weighed in the presence of the four males at the police station and amounted to 59 grams.
