24-year-old lucky to be alive after being shot once

generic-shooting-graphicBy Chrisbert Garcia: Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) on Friday around 5:10 p.m. and saw 24-year-old Belize City resident, Kyle Chaplin, with a single gunshot wound to his left knee.

Chaplin told officers that he and two friends were in a vehicle on Cran Street when a male person emerged from behind a parked van and began firing shots in their direction, causing his injuries. Police investigations into the shooting continue.
