Diesel rises by 81 cents, from six dollars 41 cents to seven dollars 22 cents; regular is up by 97 cents from $8.51 to $9.23, and premium by 72 cents, despite world oil prices being at a 14 year low and trending down since November. Only kerosene is untouched at $5.33.
The year’s lowest price for regular was recorded on November 28th at seven dollars 38 cents a gallon, and the year’s lowest price for diesel was recorded just a few days ago on December 16th.
Vehicle owners are advised to go “gas up” this weekend, to beat the rising prices to end 2015.
