Cool weather to prevail

Radar feature January 6By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies today and clear skies tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Winds will be blowing from the North-Northeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High temperatures today are expected around 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 72 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 7:17 and a low tide this afternoon at 1:16.

The Sun will set at 5:32 this evening.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for mainly fair weather with only brief isolated showers.
