Stann Creek police seek public help in finding escaped prisoner

By Chrisbert Garcia: Stann Creek police are asking the general public to assist them with information as they search for 29-year-old Shane Bennett of Independence village who escaped from his holding cell at the Intermediate Southern Formation Police Station yesterday, sometime between 12 and 12:25 a.m.

Bennett, considered to be armed and dangerous, was on remand for various crimes, including burglary and theft among others and the police ask that if anyone sees him, kindly detain and inform the nearest station.
