Benque Police bust one for weed plantation

By BMG Staff: The Benque Viejo Del Carmen police Quick Response Team (QRT) has destroyed a small marijuana plantation on the out skirts of that municipality.

QRT, on a routine check on the Hydro Road in Benque, searched a small house on a farm where they discovered nine plants ranging from 10 inches to two feet in height.

At the time of the search, 57-year-old naturalized Belizean, Andres Valladarez, was informed of the offences and was escorted to the Benque Viejo police station where he was charged for possession and cultivation of an illegal substance.
