By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting variably cloudy and cool weather this morning, becoming mostly cloudy this afternoon and tonight. A few light showers or periods of rain will occur mainly over the sea this morning, along the coast this afternoon and over most areas tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the West-Northwest at 5-15 knots this morning, becoming North-Northeast at 10-20 knots this afternoon. The sea state will be choppy to moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 77 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 70 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this evening at 6:09 and a low tide this morning at 11:46.
The Sun will set at 5:40 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for partly cloudy skies with showers becoming generally isolated.
