By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly cloudy skies and cool weather with a few light showers or periods of rain mainly inland and north at first, then spreading to southern coastal areas this evening and early tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the Northwest at 10-20 knots with higher gusts and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 80 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 70 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this afternoon at 12:48 and a low tide this evening at 7:12.
The sun will set at 5:46 this evening.
The extended forecast into Saturday morning calls for variably cloudy and cool weather with little or no rainfall.
