Fatal stabbing in Belize City

By Aaron Humes: There was a stabbing after midnight Friday night near the Complex Building in the Lake Independence area of Belize City.

Although we have tried, we have been unable to get any information from Police on how the incident unfolded. All we can confirm so far is that the incident was fatal. We will withhold the name of the victim pending confirmation from police.

We are told that police cordoned off the area from Western Avenue to the Complex building at around 1:30 in the morning.
