Town and City Council employees trained in QuickBooks

By BBN Staff: Town and City Council administrators, accountants, financial officers, account clerks, as well as revenue managers took part in a QuickBooks usage training today at the central information and technology office in Belmopan.LOCAL GOVERNMENT PRESS RELEASE ON TRAINING 2016-2

This training, conducted by the Department of Local Government and Belize Mayor’s Association, is expected to have enhanced the capacity of accounts management at all councils, since participants received information on posting and managing transactions, posting and managing budget estimates and balance sheet reporting.

Having completed this one day training, participants are expected to provide quality information for their respective councils, to aid in policy and decision making.
