Crack cocaine and cannabis seeds found by police

BBN Staff: Yesterday morning in Belize City and Benque Viejo Town, two persons were arrested in seperate instances for ‘drug trafficking’ after being busted with crack cocaine and cannabis seeds respectively. 

At around 9:55 a.m., police in Belize City stopped and searched 35-year-old Chadrick Tingling while on mobile patrol near Victoria Street, and found 7 grams of crack cocaine in his pocket for which he was arrested.

Then in Benque Viejo, Cayo District at around 10:15 a.m., 18-year-old Yesica Esmeralda Tahual Cruz, a Guatemalan National, was searched by a customs officer at the Belize Western Border and found inside her handbag was 243 grams of cannabis seed, for which she was also arrested.
