Police seek Eric Elrington for robbery and shooting incident

By BBN Staff: Cayo Police are asking for the public’s help to locate Eric Elrington, who is wanted for a robbery and shooting incident that occurred on Monday night in Unitedville Village.

24-year-old Henry Michael Gordon of Blackman Eddy Village, also in the Cayo District, reported to police that around 7:30 on that night, he was waiting to catch a bus on the roadside when Elrington approached him, placed a black gun to his head and demanded money.

Gordon stated that he feared for his life and handed over a wallet containing $600, after which Elrington shot him on the right foot and again on the lower part of his right hand as he ran away. Police investigations continue.
