Traffic offender charged for trying to bribe officers

BBN Staff: Nalbort Letson Broaster, a well-known businessman in Santa Elena Town, Cayo was
arrested and charged for multiple counts of attempting to corrupt a public officer.

According to a police report, Broaster attempted to bribe officers attached to the Benque Viejo Quick Response Team with $1,000 to release him from traffic offenses he committed on Sunday morning.

Officers refused Broaster’s proposal and informed him of the additional offenses committed. He was subsequently arrested and charged.
