UDP gets ready for deputy leadership race

National Security and Belmopan area representative John Saldivar are the declared candidates for the post of first deputy leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP).

While no date has been set for their face-off, the party is scheduled to meet this week to take formal nominations and set the course to that john saldivar interviewconvention.

Today, Faber and Saldivar’s Cabinet colleague Anthony “Boots” Martinez held off on saying whom he would support, explaining that he would wait until nominations were completed. However, he hinted that he was “almost sure” of which way he was going.
