Navidad, who completed his high school studies at Bishop Martin in Orange Walk before enrolling at St. John’s, has had quite a number of accomplishments along the way. He has been involved in science-based researches, journalism and won first place win in the Sagicor Visionary Challenge as leader of the team that did “Coconuts for Life”.

The young scholar has been gifted with free flight, boarding and tuition from Harvard which is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Last week he thanked all the people who have helped him to get to where he is now.

He thanked his mother for always supporting him, his high school teacher, Shakira Gonzalez for taking him under her wing and the entire Bishop Martin community for helping him to finance his exams.

Navidad will surely be a perfect fit for Harvard and we here at Breaking Belize News congratulate him on such an honorable educational achievement.
