Girl, 14, reported missing since Saturday evening

missing personBy BBN Staff: Kimberly Mejia, a 14-year-old student of Progresso Village in the Cayo District, was reported missing by her father, Melvin Mejia, 33, on Sunday.

Melvin told police that around 4:00 on Saturday evening, his daughter left home and has not been seen or heard from since.

She is described as being of fair complexion, about 5-feet-2 in height, weighs 120 pounds, has long black hair, uses eye glasses and has a small scar over her right eyebrow.

The public is asked to call the nearest police station with any information regarding the minor’s whereabouts.
