Females run away from Youth Hostel

Aaron Humes: Six female teenagers, residents of the “Youth Hostel” at Mile 21, George Price Highway, are reported missing tonight by their caretakers.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Edward Broaster tells us they got the report around three hours after the escape happened.

We are told that the young women are trying to reach the western border. Latest reports tonight are that some of them may have been detained at San Ignacio Police Station.

Authorities from the Hostel and Ministry of Human Development have not answered calls for comment.
