More than 5k lost in Hopkins burglary

By BBN Staff: Owner of Driftwood Beach Bar in Hopkins Village, Denise Mccreaery, 47, reported to police on Monday that on the 12^th of May, she closed her establishment and went to Loggerhead Pub on the other side of the village.

After closing at 11:30 p.m., she returned to her home at 1:30 a.m. the following morning, which is located directly beside her bar, and noticed that both her cabana and bar were broken into.

An assortment of electronic items, jewelry, liquor and $660 in cash, all to a total value of $5,208 were stolen. Police are investigating the burglary.
