City resident escapes shooting incident unscathed

generic-shooting-graphicBy BBN Staff: Noel Cal, 20, reported to police that around 4:45 a.m. yesterday, while he walked on Youth for the Future Drive in Belize City, a male person passed him and stopped about 20 feet away.

Almost in front of Uno Gas Station at the time, the male person then pulled out a chrome firearm, pointed at Cal and fired a single shot but missed. Cal took off running unto Ebony Street and was unhurt in the incident.

Police are investigating.
