Stable conditions predicted

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is calling for a drier and more stable air mass which has moved over the area.

 The 24 hour forecast is for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight.

Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, except over the south this morning where a few more will occur.

Winds will blow to the East at 10 to 20 knots.

The sea state will be moderate.

High temperatures in the coast are expected to reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit; inland at 94 degrees Fahrenheit and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

A low tide is expected at 4:46 this afternoon and a high tide at 10:56 later tonight.

The sun will set at 6:30 p.m. today.

An extended outlook through Tuesday night is for generally fair weather with only isolated showers. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop over the south later on Tuesday night.
