Belize City police have hands full with third weekend shooting

 By BBN Staff: While Belize City police are investigating two separate murders and a stabbing incident there was also a third shooting, but the victim is alive and in critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

Twenty-six-year-old Clifford Anderson from a Neals Pen Road address was seen suffering from what appears to be a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Investigations have revealed that at around 10:00 p.m. shots were heard in the vicinity of an alley near the basketball court on Neal’s Pen Road. Anderson was found lying on the ground.

He was transported to the KHMH where his condition is described as critical. Police have since detained one person for questioning in connection with the incident.
